Kellypalooza was held on April 8, 2011 at Kelly High School. Students had an opportunity to sign petitions to advocate for policies to reduce hunger, increase US support to UNICEF and support legislation to increase access to clean water for populations around the world.

Senn High School students display a mosaic they created to raise their voices for gender equality and women's empowerment (Millennium Development Goals #3) in March 2010

Dr. Walker with Senn High School students and the mosaics they created about Millennium Development Goal #3. The mosaics raised $500 and the funds were donated to women's organizations in Chicago and in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Excel Academy High School students participate in Dunk HIV AIDS, a basketball tournament that raised over $700 in 2008. Half of the funds raised were donated to an HIV clinic on Chicago's west side and the other half was given to an organization working with women in Rwanda.
